Common use

Taffic is a once-daily medicine used to treat HIV-1 in adults and children over 14 kg. It combines three antiretroviral drugs in one tablet, helping to stop the virus from multiplying and keeping the immune system strong.

Dosage and direction

Taffic is taken once daily, with or without food. It is recommended to take one tablet at the same time each day to maintain consistent levels of the medicine in your body. Do not skip doses or stop taking Taffic without consulting your healthcare provider.

Precautions

Before taking Taffic, inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, or if you are taking other HIV medicines. Do not use with drugs like rifampin, which may reduce its effectiveness. Do not stop Taffic without medical advice.

Contraindications

Do not use Taffic if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. It should not be taken with other HIV medications or with drugs that significantly reduce Taffic levels, such as rifampin.

Possible side effect

Taffic is generally well-tolerated, but some users may experience headache, nausea, diarrhea, or fatigue. Serious side effects are rare but may include liver issues or changes in kidney function. Contact your doctor if you experience unusual symptoms.

Missed dose

If you miss a dose of Taffic, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your next dose at the regular time. Do not take two doses at once.After a missed dose, continue taking Taffic at your usual scheduled time.

Storage

Store Taffic at room temperature between 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F), away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not store in the bathroom.
